Configuring the WGT624v2 for 108 Mbps Static Mode

To get 108 Mbps Dynamic Mode with the WGT624v2 Wireless Firewall Router, use one of these NETGEAR wireless adapters, with the latest firmware:

To Configure the WGT624v2 Router

1. Open a browser and type the router's IP address in the URL field. The default is 192.168.0.1. (Fig. 1)

2. Enter the username and password to access the router (The default username is Admin, the default password is password).

3. From the menu on the left, click Wireless Settings.

4. Select Mode > 108Mbps only. (Fig. 2)

5. Click Apply to save your changes.

To Configure the WG311T or WG511T Adapter

1. Ensure the NETGEAR wireless adapter is properly installed and the wireless utility is running.

2. Open the wireless utility and click Advanced Settings.

3. For Wireless Mode, check only 108Mb 802.11g (2.4 GHz).

4. Click OK, then Apply to save your changes.
